![]() 2011 GA Pearls Girls Basketball Club
The GA Pearls Girls Basketball Club is a Christ-Centered club dedicated to fundamentally developing the basketball skills of young girls and coordinating programs that will prepare them to excel at the collegiate level.
The Georgia Pearls Girls Basketball Club was developed by LADYS, Inc. (Leadership And Development of our Youth in Sports). The GA Pearls Girls Basketball Club was founded in 2002 with 5 teams and has grown over the past 8 years. With a 95% retention rate, the GA Pearls are the largest girls basketball club South of Atlanta and the second largest in the state. The GA Pearls has consistently managed teams in ages 9-16. To date, the GA Pearls have graduated more than 30 players who have received collegiate athletic scholarships. As a christian club we are similar to a church. We will accept you as you are, however we expect you to exhibit Christ-like attitudes and behaviors while you are apart of our organization. We will continually show you God's love and grace and pray that our actions will bring you to a closer relationship with Jesus. The only one who is perfect is Jesus. However, we will continually strive for excellence on and off the court.
"Our success is not measured by how many championships we win.
Our success is measured by how many players we develop and how many players go on to the collegiate level on athletic scholarships.
That is our ultimate goal!"
Darlene Beale Norris
President/CEO
